Mission

The mission of the Houston Downtown Alliance is to promote a vibrant downtown Houston through events, membership, and promotional events.

Ways in which we do this include:

• Communicating and promoting via e-mail newsletter, quarterly magazine Urban Update, websites (downtownhouston.org and houstontheaterdistrict.org);
• Networking events including the Starbucks Breakfast Speaker Series;
• Emerging Leaders;
• Urban Update, our quarterly publication of all things downtown;
• Houston Theater District Open House and Educators' Theater District Open House; 
• Downtown Home Tour;
• and more!
