University of Houston – Downtown (UHD) is a publicly-supported urban university committed to providing students with quality education opportunities. In accordance with the city of Houston’s variety of cultures, UHD is considered one of the most ethnically diverse liberal arts institutions in the southwest. With over 12,000 students, the college offers baccalaureate degrees in 43 areas and four master’s degree programs.
