What's For Lunch?

Houston Restaurant Weeks is a volunteer-driven effort benefitting the Houston Food Bank, raising more than $1.7 million to date.  Plus, it’s a great opportunity for people to try out Houston’s most sought-out restaurants for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Skip the microwave meals and try out some of these fabulous pre-fixe lunches brought to you by Houston Restaurant Weeks. Each restaurant offers two to three courses for these lunch specials, with $3 per meal going directly to Houston Food Bank.

Here’s what caught our eye:

Beer Braised Wild Boar Tostada, second course at Line & Lariat
Featuring Karbach beer and wild boar, black beans, avocado, pico, crema and queso fresco.

Tuna Melt, second course at Hearsay
Dried cranberries, mozzarella melted on ciabatta served with fresh fruit.

Vol-au-Vent Texas Goat Cheese Salad, first course at *17 Restaurant
Baby arugula, artisan lettuce, tomatoes, endive, goat cheese and honey-glazed kumquat vinaigrette.

Texas Pecan & Brown Butter Cake, third course at The Grove
Yummy gooey Texas Pecan goodness topped with vanilla ice cream.
