Performers must be instrumental musicians and/or vocalists performing as soloists or in ensembles comprised of no more than five (5) student musicians. About the Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition
The Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition was created by Fidelity Investments in partnership with the Houston Symphony to support arts education in public schools. The project grew from the company’s long-standing commitment of many of the nation’s leading symphonies and community arts organizations across the country. Fidelity has partnered with the Houston Symphony for many years providing opportunities for area students to explore and expand their interests in music, ranging from the donation of new instruments to local schools, tickets for students to attend Symphony performances and support for mentorship and classroom workshops by professional artists. This is the third year of the competition.

About the Houston Symphony
