Experience a Fresh Alternative to Everyday Living!

Georgia’s Farm to Market will open a multi-concept store on Main Street in downtown Houston on Friday, January 27. The popular farm to market store, which promotes health and well-being to its customers, already boasts a successful market in west Houston.

“We are thrilled to expand Georgia’s market to downtown and are looking forward to offering good food, every day, for everyone in this diverse neighborhood,” owner Rick Bost said. “Georgia’s Market Downtown will offer the same great products as our store in west Houston and will stay true to our desire to provide the largest selection of local foods and goods as possible, while supporting farmers and ranchers who use sustainable practices.”

Georgia’s Market Downtown will include The Market, The Café and The Cellar and will be the premier place to shop, dine, play, relax and enjoy Houston.

  • The Market – Stocked with fresh, organic produce, grass-fed and natural meats, with the majority coming from the Bosts’ ranch in Waller, Texas. Other options include prepared foods, snacks, and vegan and gluten-free products. Some artisanal, local vendors include Way Back When Dairy, Slow Dough Bread Co, Kickin Kombucha and Pola Cheeses, just to name a few.
  • The Café –Offers customers the finest fresh, organic and natural ingredients. Includes a salad bar, full hot buffet, freshly prepared meals, and a separate Bistro menu. Dine-in or grab a quick meal on the go.
  • The Cellar – The perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or choose from a large selection of local brews and organic and unique wines. The Cellar event room will also be available to reserve for private functions.

Georgia’s Market Downtown will also have weeknight happy hours, live music, collection of books by local authors on consignment, and the widest selections of teas and spices you will find in Houston. Delicious catering options will be available for both office and home deliveries.

“Georgia’s Market is a perfect fit for downtown and will significantly contribute to creating a thriving, livable downtown community,” Angie Bertinot, director of marketing and communications with the Downtown District, said. “The Downtown District is committed to developing retail that reflects the needs of our eclectic community and has been working very closely with the Georgia’s team; we know that the downtown residents, workers and visitors are going to be ecstatic when they discover everything Georgia’s has to offer! ”

Operated by Rick and Georgia Bost, the concept of “good food, every day, for everyone” will remain the foundation for Georgia’s Market Downtown and they hope to erase the mystery and shorten the distance between where food is produced, and where it is bought and consumed. As members of the local farming community, the Bosts strive to provide the largest selection of local foods and goods as possible, while supporting farmers and ranchers who use sustainable practices. The Bosts are local farmers and ranchers and have been building the Georgia’s Farm to Market brand for two years.

Georgia’s Market Downtown is located at 420 Main Street. Opening hours will be Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Happy hour will be Monday – Friday from 4 – 7 p.m.
