Since 2011, the nation’s elite prep stars have participated in the High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, a nationally televised showcase to introduce the basketball world to the next generation of elite players that will hit the college and professional ranks in the years to come.
The 2023 High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will be held on Friday, March 31 at 7 p.m. CT at Hoops House inside the Bayou Music Center in downtown Houston. CBS will air the event in its entirety on Sunday, April 2 at Noon CT.
A complete roster of participating players will be announced in the week’s leading up to the event, but this event has routinely hosted the future stars of the basketball world, several of which are currently part of the young core of the Houston Rockets.
