House of Cards, presented by Bracewell, is a public-art piece by Israel-based design studio OGE Group consisting of 126 oversized playing cards, each of which features a unique piece of artwork. During the day, the cards’ crisp white lines and colorful images will dazzle. At night, the structure will be illuminated to create the illusion of the house of cards rising, collapsing and being rebuilt.

According to the artists, “the card house refers to an important structure in society, one that is built by people and their relationships.” This artist statement reflects the growth and development of Discovery Green!
