The public is encouraged to attend this free conference to learn about staying safe on campus and in downtown Houston, complete with dynamic speakers and interactive demonstrations. It is a “come and go” event with session topics in 30-minute blocks.

 

Speakers include, but are not limited to, UHD Police Chief Casey Davis, Ph.D.; Detective Monica Fortson, Houston Police Department; Lt. Roy Guinn, Harris County Constable Pct. 5; and Naomi Berger-Perez, UHD Director of Counseling Services. Demonstrations and information will be displayed by exhibitors, local law enforcement and fire services on self-defense, gun safety, first aid, cyber safety, behavioral health and more.
