This Valentine’s Day, Strato 550 invites guests to dine among the stars. For one night only, the 43rd-floor lunch destination known for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and panoramic views of downtown Houston will be open for a pop-up Valentine’s Day dinner.
Guests will be greeted with an amuse-bouche of caviar and Champagne upon arrival, followed by a four-course dinner by Executive Chef Evan Parker. Each course will offer guests the choice between two dishes:
tenderloin, marinated quail egg, charred red onion, Aleppo pepper and sumac citronette, mint, pita chip
scallop, roasted carrot, cumin honey vinaigrette, fennel
gem lettuce, grilled sourdough, marinated boquerón, Grana Padano, roasted garlic preserved lemon dressing or
ciliegine mozzarella, watercress, basil, Castelvetrano olives, Meyer lemon
Grana Padano potato puree, charred tomato, roasted garlic basil butter) or
heirloom tomato, pearl onion, olive confit, preserved lemon saffron couscous, chermoula
with raspberry, pistachio and rose or vanilla lemon
with blueberry and a cinnamon pizzella.
