In honor of Houston’s veterans, first responders, and volunteers who have led Houston’s recovery efforts from Hurricane Harvey, the City of Houston will host their annual “Houston Salutes American Heroes” Veterans Day Celebration. The celebration will begin with the nationally recognized Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run, originally scheduled for September 9 and continue with the AARP Veterans Job & Resource Fair, and HEB Commemorative Ceremony in Hermann Square at City Hall.

To further support Houston’s recovery efforts, attendees can purchase a “Run with Houston” limited edition t-shirt. Sales support the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. The shirt can be purchased here and will also be available at the Houston 9/11 Heroes Run.
