Hieronymus Box is a Houstonian take on Hieronymus Bosch’s Garden of Delights. Patterns and colors from Bosch’s masterwork are applied to images of iconic Houstonians, Houston landmarks, and local flora and fauna to create a digital collage of a Houstonian Eden. This piece is also a tribute to Selena and DJ Screw on the respective 25th and 20th anniversaries of their passing. Selena’s image is repeated throughout the piece, and DJ Screw’s image emerges from a field of bluebonnets as "DJ Screw Bonnet", an eternal artist rising from the fields of Texas.

A BIG thank you goes to Younan Properties, Inc. for allowing us to utilize the windows of their property at 1111 Main.
