Out of caution for the evolving coronavirus situation, organized events that are scheduled for the month of March and April have been cancelled in accordance with guidelines from local health officials. We are doing our best to track them and are updating our calendar if an event has been cancelled, postponed and/or rescheduled.

We are monitoring daily and will be updating our downtownhouston.org calendar events with event cancellation information as we receive it. Below is a running list of events that have either been canceled or postponed.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, restaurants and bars are required to close for the next 15 days.

  • Dining-in is not allowed.
  • Only take-out and delivery food are permitted.
  • Bars and clubs that do not serve food are required to close fully.

Houstonians should visit HoustonEmergency.org for updated information about local risk, routine protective actions, frequently asked questions, communication resources, rumor control, emergency preparedness tips and more.
