Ars Lyrica at the Hobby Center
Ars Lyrica’s Venetian Carnival NYE dinner is a Downtown staple. The musical program features virtuosic concertos for flute and equally flamboyant works for one, two, and three solo violins. The evening begins with a three-course dinner and concludes with a lively post-concert party with music and dancing. Purchase tickets here.
One of our fav tapas places Downtown of course has a Spanish-style party planned. The event runs from 5pm-12am and includes a 4 course meal & complimentary sangria toast at midnight, for $59/ea. Make reservations here.
Come out to the Historic District and take part in Batanga’s Passport to 2020 NYE event. There’s food specials, a live DJ set and most importantly, a champagne toast.
Bovine & Barley
This Main Street bar has one of the city’s only free NYE parties, complete with a champagne toast and a $2000 balloon drop. Here’s the deets.

Henke & Pillot
Drinks and dancing will be abundant at this Roaring 20’s, Gatsby-inspired New Year’s Eve celebration. With two floors of DJs & dancing, a complimentary buffet, and a champagne toast (plus plenty of drinks flowing from the bar), this is sure to be one for the history books. This Downtown favorite is hosting a Ring in the New Year party with SKYROCKET!, one of the most creative and inimitable cover bands to emerge from Austin. Tickets are on sale now and include a champagne toast, and of course a special dance floor to dance the night away.
