Winter Wanderland on Bagby

by Shelby Roth    December 1, 2021

With Winter Wanderland on Bagby Street, you're invited to stroll through 100,000+ lights and discover the best and jolliest the season has to offer, right in your very own Downtown. When the holiday spirit leads the way, there's no telling where your night will take you.

FAQs

What is WWOB? It's our new light installations along the newly renovated Bagby Street! You'll find constellation tunnels, angel wings & so much more as you stroll the avenue.

How much does it cost? Winter Wanderland on Bagby is absolutely free! All lighting installations are in the public realm.

Where is WWOB? On Bagby Street in Downtown Houston, from Dallas to Preston. We suggest starting at the Houston Public Library's Central Library at 500 McKinney Street, then making your way down to Preston (across from the Downtown Aquarium).

When does it start? The lights turn on every night at sundown & are on until the wee hours of morning.

How long will the lights be up? Through January 2, 2022.

Can I bring my dogs? YES! We love a good pup with angel wings photo. Just make sure they are leashed & picked up after.

Are there any booths or photo props? We don't have booths or photo props, but feel free to take photos with & in front of the lights!

What other lights do you have in Downtown? We suggest checking out Texas' largest mistletoe ball at Market Square Park (301 Milam), and strolling down Main to view our regular Main Street lights from Dallas to Commerce (including our huge "noel" sign photo op!).

As a reminder, make sure to tag @DowntownHouston in your Winter Wanderland photos & videos! We would love to share & feature you.
