The word is spreading and everyone is starting to get excited about Final Four weekend... even those of you who aren't basketball fans will find it fun to get involved in the Houston hoopla! Bracket Town at the George R. Brown Convention Center is a giant interactive fan fest... a great way to spend the day with the kids and then there is The Big Dance at Discovery Green. Friday night's concert still hasn't been announced but Kings of Leon will be playing Saturday and Kenny Chesney on Sunday-- all three concerts are FREE.
If you want to avoid the big crownds there are some great places downtown to watch the games on TV. Top picks are Flying Saucer, The State Bar, Molly's Pub or Market Square Park where we'll have the lawn tented with big screens and a beer garden! The great thing about downtown is you can partake in all since everything is walkable!
Now for the big question: where to park. We've created a parking map that shows public garages and surface lots. Price points are going to vary but our recommendation... you're best bet will be at the garages where you shouldn't spend more than $10.
So get ready to get your game on and we'll see you downtown!
